We’ve worked with some great local organizations such as Breast Cancer Awareness, Leukemia & Lymphoma Support, Autism Speaks, Home & Schools, dance troupes and many other worthwhile causes. The Comedy Shrine would like to help you and your organization put the FUN back in Fundraising! SINKER SWIM Productions will teach your employees to work as an ensemble (team) through improvisational theater games. Improv Team Building is based 0n the “yes, and…” philosophy that is the central rule of Improv Theater. Improv teaches employees to support each other, think on their feet, and find the fun in their jobs. Custom Written Skits David Sinker is an Emmy Award winning writer. The Comedy Shrine’s decor is unlike any other comedy theater in America. The walls and lobby of The Comedy Shrine feature comedy memorabilia and collectibles from the personal collection of The Comedy Shrine’s founder, David Sinker. This collection consists of over three hundred items representing such comic legends as The Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, Abbott & Costello, The Three Stooges, and Laurel & Hardy. The Comedy Shrine has a bar serving beer, wine, mixed drinks, soft drinks & snacks. We have two theaters available for rental to local theater groups or for private dinner parties, corporate functions, and fundraisers. All functions must use The Comedy Shrine bar, and approved caterers are available for your event. Two private dressing rooms are available for use during theater productions.
